Common questions.
Does each camera need a power outlet?
No. IP cameras run on Power over Ethernet, so one Cat6 cable carries both power and video from the switch or recorder. That saves an outlet at every camera.
How long is footage saved?
It depends on the number of cameras, the resolution, and whether they record all the time or on motion. We size the recorder's storage to the number of days you want to keep.
Can I watch my cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up the app on your phone and show you how to watch live and play back recordings.
Can you work on a system someone else installed?
Yes. We troubleshoot and repair existing camera systems, replace dead cameras, rerun bad cable and add cameras to the recorder you already have.
Do you install cameras at homes?
Yes. We do homes as well as businesses, from a few cameras on the doors and driveway to a full system with a recorder.
